本文自三峡水库缘起, 通过中国及国外150多座水库诱发地震的例证, 以诱发Ms6. 0+水库地震为判别条件, 得出一个基本观念, 大凡区域性的NE、NW向走滑断层或者大型裂谷构造有长段 (比如10km以上) 被浸泡在库水中, 有可能诱发Ms6. 0+的破坏性水库地震, 其余属性的断裂、裂谷构造皆不会轻易发生。以此观念用于三峡水库的研究而形成了初步判断, 并给出了对于水库诱发地震进行分类研究与区别对待的建议, 应该有益于大型高坝水库诱发地震问题的系统研究。水库诱发地震关系着全球数亿人们的安危,不可马虎。
Starting from the Sanxia reservoir, this paper, based on more than 150 examples of reservoir induced earthquakes in China and abroad, and taking Ms6. 0+ reservoir induced earthquakes as the criterion, draws a basic idea that long sections (such as more than 10 kilometers) of regional NE and NW strike-slip faults or large rift structures are immersed in reservoir water, which may induce destructive Ms6. 0+ reservoir earthquakes. Other attributes of the fault, rift structure will not occur easily. This concept is applied to the study of the Sanxia Reservoir, and the preliminary judgment is formed, and the suggestions for classifying and differentiating reservoir-induced earthquakes are given, which should be beneficial to the systematic study of large high-dam reservoir-induced earthquakes. Reservoir-induced earthquakes affect the safety of hundreds of millions of people around the world and should not be neglected.
