Abstract | the Response of Water Cycle and Organic Carbon Response to Drought in Semi-Arid Agricultural Ecosystems is a monograph that explores the dynamic responses of water cycling and organic carbon in the agricultural ecosystems of semi-arid regions under drought conditions. The book systematically addresses the formation mechanisms of drought, the characteristics of water cycles, and the spatiotemporal changes and storage potential of organic carbon through three sections: upper, middle, and lower. It reveals the complex impacts of drought on agricultural ecosystems in the context of climate change. The author proposes innovative drought resistance strategies, effectively improving crop water use efficiency and yield stability, while also emphasizing the critical role of soil organic carbon management in enhancing soil water retention capacity and crop resilience. This provides scientific evidence and practical guidance for the sustainable development of agriculture in semi-arid regions. While the research conclusions have certain limitations regarding regional applicability, the interdisciplinary research approach and innovative findings offer valuable references for the sustainable management of semi-arid ecosystems, with significant theoretical and practical implications. |
