With the acceleration of China's aging population and the continuous upgrading of digital technology, the contradiction faced by the elderly in the “digital divide” problem has become increasingly prominent. Based on a questionnaire survey of people aged 60 and above in the Yangtze River Delta region (with 2, 173 valid samples) , combined with SPSS25. 0 data analysis, this study systematically explores the current situation of the digital divide among the elderly and its influencing factors at the social, family and individual levels. The research finds that the elderly generally have obstacles in basic skills such as operating digital devices operation, conducting online transactions, and processing information, and there is a significant positive correlation among different dimensions of digital capabilities. The study points out that it is necessary to start from a multi-dimensional collaborative mechanism including policy support, technological optimization, and family guidance, focusing on improving the digital skills and information literacy of the elderly, so as to promote their better integration into the digital society. In addition, enhancing the self-efficacy of the elderly and optimizing the social support network are the core paths to promote their digital integration. This study provides empirical evidence and policy implications for solving the digital divide among the elderly, and helps to achieve the goal of “smart elderly care”.
