Evaluation of Product Value Realization in Mine Ecological Restoration:Taking Shaanxi Province as an Example

The ecological restoration of mines in Shaanxi Province is crucial for the recovery and sustainable development of regional ecosystems. However, research and practices on realizing the ecological product value of mine ecological restoration are currently limited. This paper aims to explore an evaluation system for achieving ecological product value in mine ecological restoration, promoting the transition from “green waters and green mountains” to “golden mountains and silver mountains”, and providing references for relevant policy-making. Based on the ecological characteristics of mines in shaanxi province, this study selects three categories of ecological products—material products, regulating service products, and cultural service products—as indicators, constructing an evaluation system for the realization of mine ecological restoration product values. The study indicates that different types of mine restoration measures show significant differences in enhancing the realization of ecological product values. The value of material products is mainly achieved through soil improvement and vegetation restoration. Regulating service products excel in improving water and air quality, while cultural service products have potential in landscape beautification and eco-tourism development. Overall, the restoration effects in the Qinling-Bashan region significantly enhance regional ecosystem stability and biodiversity, whereas the Wei River Basin dry belt area excels in enhancing agricultural productivity. This paper provides theoretical support and practical basis for the realization of ecological product values in mine ecological restoration.
