Abstract

Scientific Myths on the Table is a work by popular science writer Lin Qingshun. Through detailed data and scientific analysis, it addresses widespread misconceptions and rumors about everyday diets, helping readers distinguish between genuine dietary principles and misleading propaganda. The book uses a scientific perspective to debunk popular myths such as “anti-cancer foods” and “health supplement benefits, ” guiding readers back to a scientific and rational view of nutrition by revealing the principles of truly healthy eating. Beyond providing dietary science knowledge, this book also helps readers avoid the pitfalls of pseudoscience in health decisions, offering significant practical value.
