Research on Influencing Factors and Promotion Paths of High School Students' Career Adaptability under the Background of the New College Entrance Examination
Against the backdrop of the new college entrance examination reform, improving senior high school students’ career adaptability has become a key issue in regular senior high school education. Taking 35 official WeChat official account articles themed on career education in Henan Province as the research objects, this study adopts the content analysis method and conducts three-level coding with the help of NVivo 11. 0 software. The study found that the factors influencing senior high school students’ career adaptability mainly fall into four dimensions: Individual, family, school and society. Among them, the school factor exerts the most significant influence, yet it is accompanied by unbalanced regional development and a tendency toward formalization. Within family factors, outdated parental perceptions serve as the major constraint, while social culture shapes students’ career cognition through implicit normative frameworks. Accordingly, this study proposes several improvement paths, including constructing a systematic curriculum system, building a professional teaching staff, integrating collaborative resources of families, schools and society, and improving institutional safeguards. It aims to provide references for the practical innovation of career education for senior high school students under the background of the new college entrance examination.
