红色文化是在汲取中华优秀传统文化基础上创造的先进文化, 包括了精神和物质两方面内容, 同高校思想政治教育之间具有较强的耦合性, 表现于目标相契合, 内容相衔接, 载体相一致。高校推进红色文化融入思想政治理论课是筑牢大学生理想信念根基, 传承红色基因、发挥历史主动性的必要举措。高校立足三全育人理念, 通过构建课程、实践、文化育人体系对推进红色文化融入思想政治教育、坚定民族文化自信有着价值引领作用, 更有利于推动立德树人根本任务的实现。 

Since it is based on the absorption of excellent Chinese traditional culture and containing both spiritual and material aspects, red culture is advanced and is highly coupled—on coherence of goals, engagement of contents and consistency of carriers—with ideological and political education in colleges and universities. To propel red culture merging into ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities is a necessary move in consolidating the foundation of ideals and beliefs of the students, inheriting the red gene and giving full play to the historical initiative of colleges and universities. Sticking to the idea of “education by entire staff, through the whole process and in all directions”, colleges and universities, propelling red culture to merge into their ideological and political education via a system of course construction, practice and cultural cultivation, will play a value-leading role in strengthening national cultural confidence, and moreover, be conductive to the realization of their fundamental task of fostering virtue through education.
